May 2008 Justice for Girls launches a sister organization, Justice for Girls International, a Canadian organization working to promote the human rights of girls worldwide through partnerships and systemic advocacy.

March 2007- Fifty-first session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women releases its' Agreed Conclusions focused on the Elimination of Discrimination and Violence Against the Girl Child. Read Committee's Conclusions
